Technical Project Manager – Long Term Microsoft v- Contract
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to work in a group at Microsoft that delivers business critical customer support capabilities to various business groups at MS. The team provides client UI, API and middle tier features and fixes to deliver components which are scalable, agile and customizable. The projects are driven by technical and functional requirements from a dynamic backlog defined by business partners. New features are delivered to users and integration partners in production releases on release cycles ranging from one to three months.

This resource will provide technical project management services for the architecture, design and development for various internal applications. He/she will manage new feature development; coordinate customer on-boarding, coordinate cross-group collaboration and joint development efforts; and participate in the design and implementation, testing, and any other effort as required with services including, but not limited to:
Working directly with the business partner organization to collect, validate, reconcile, business requirements, define and validate technical options, drive recommendations and develop functional/technical specifications.
Coordinating across disciplines and organizational boundaries to manage change in break/fix, enhancement and feature work streams.
Identifying and managing functional and technical interdependencies to minimize risk and optimize for quality and time.
Working with all engineering disciplines and partner teams to track, prioritize and drive resolution to emergent issues as they arise.
Driving cross team collaborative design and / or status reviews across the partner ecosystem.
Manage internal and external communications for assigned work as directed.
Required Skills:
Strong technical PM (someone who has come up from a development background)
Agile / Scrum experience
Self-directed
Knowledge of Microsoft tools including TFS
Nice to have Skills:
Experience at Microsoft
.Net Framework experience
