Secondary Mathematics Teacher

Profile

We are seeking a Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our team! CCCA is a private, Christian school in search of a secondary mathematics teacher for middle school and high school students. We teach traditional math and do not use Common Core methods. CCCA has a small staff and therefore relies on team players - those willing to help out, support one other, and be part of a ministry with growth and service as part of our overall goals for our students and their families. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Adhere to established teaching curriculum
• Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Document and share student grades and evaluations
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in teaching high school
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Regular church attendance/ministry involvement

Benefits:

• Annual salary of $23K - $25K
• Approximately five weeks of paid time off (school calendar)
