Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Develop case strategies and tactics to effectively represent clients in personal injury matters
• Handle and supervise pre-litigation and light litigation cases
• Take depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, and both lay and expert witnesses
• Prepare cases and file motions as needed for trial
• Work closely with paralegal and secretarial staff to focus on attorney work, including settlements and trials
• Act as first or second chair in trial, depending on experience
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients with insurance companies and opposing parties

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law
• At least 1 year of experience in litigation, including motion practice
• Experience in plaintiff pre-litigation (2+ years preferred)
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to handle high-volume caseloads and manage all aspects of personal injury cases
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Willingness to work hard and get results for clients

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in California

Skills:

• Extensive experience in personal injury law, including both pre-litigation and litigation phases
• Proficiency in motion practice and depositions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent negotiation and client management abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of legal professionals
