Description

The Senior Software Quality Testing Engineer thoroughly evaluates the software products according to the business standards or function requirements. The Senior Software Quality Testing Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors to include testing experience on data in Azure cloud environments.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Quality Testing Engineer isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects and verifies fixes. Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Very familiar with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Should be able to create test data.

Should be able to maintain and update regression scenarios.

Should be able to create various testing metrics eg: Capacity utilization reports,

RCA report etc.

Required Qualifications

Must live within 100 miles of Louisville, KY to come in as business needs require

5 or more years of technical experience

Testing experience on data in Azure cloud environments

Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements

Working experience with Oracle, SQL and PL-SQL

Experience in ETL testing.

Should be able to write medium to complex queries and able to analyze the data to identify the issues with data.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

Advanced Degree

Testing certifications will have additional value

SQL/Oracle/Azure Cloud Certification will have additional value

Offshore team coordination is major role for this position
