Assistant Counsel
The candidate will ensure high quality legal advice to the company. Will gather, organize and store information relevant to ongoing litigation. Meeting with relevant stakeholders, coordinate schedules to meet deadlines, maintain calendars. Assist with researching, drafting and management of corporate compliance policies. Ensure company compliance with legal policies, state and federal laws and regulations. Work with outside counsel when necessary and appropriate. Identify potential legal risks to the company. Willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' and learn every day. Maintain the company's legal files including a library of pre-approved form documents, templates, and historical documents; add or revise material as needed. Provide support for litigation and regulatory-related matters. Perform other related duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate.
