Employment Law - Senior Legal Counsel
The candidate will provide daily counsel to Human resources and business units on substantive legal areas including recruiting, hiring, employee relations, discipline and terminations, leave of absence management, and compliance and benefits. Will also be working closely with internal clients on all aspects of employment law and HR issues to support their legal needs in the Americas, primarily in the USA, but also jurisdictions such as Canada, Brazil and Mexico. Manage external counsel in litigation and administrative agency matters. Other areas of responsibility may include advising on employment-related provisions in contracts and acquisitions, reviewing and revising internal policies and corporate communications, and joining the Americas Employment Law Team in training initiatives. Report to the Americas Employment Law Lead.
