Aon is looking for an Incident Response Coordinator and Privacy Analyst  Reporting to Aon’s Global Privacy Office, Incident Response Coordinator/Privacy Analyst is responsible for assisting with managing privacy incidents, including breach reporting and coordinating resolution actions. The person in this role will also respond to data subject requests from the United States and maintain and update privacy processes designed to comply with data privacy laws. The Incident Response Coordinator/Privacy Analyst will work within the Global Privacy Office and should be passionate about privacy and compliance. The person in this role will be comfortable with guiding business partners and navigating a complex organization with broad services related to risk, retirement, health, reinsurance, and data and analytics.Chicago location ideal however this role can be done virtually anywhere in the U.S.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeManage and coordinate response to data privacy incidents in your region as part of the privacy incident response team.Respond to data subject requests.Assist the global privacy team in responding to inquiries and requests for support.Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with members of the business and work proactively with them to identify, mitigate and address privacy risks.Help support projects designed to maintain awareness throughout the organization of Aon’s approach to privacy and commitment to its privacy obligations globally.Keep abreast of regulatory developments and local guidance to ensure that Aon understands and remains compliant with evolving requirements.Skills and experience that will lead to success3 years relevant experience with a focus on incident responseExperience responding to data subject requestsYou are a self-motivated team player with the ability to learn quickly, identify and resolve legal and business issues, drive projects and earn the confidence of the partners you work withYou can work independently but also like to be part of a diverse teamPreferred:CIPP certified, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledgeHow we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans.
