Regional Manager Lead Primary Responsibilities: Lead Sales Results Lead a team of approximately 6-10 Region Sales Managers to develop growth and product penetration strategies and tactics to grow Precision Planting\u2019s sales through the dealer channel. Responsible for all dealer channel sales activities throughout the specified regions. Responsible for planning and managing farm shows and other marketing functions to build brand awareness throughout specified regions. Develops and\/or maintains and improves business relations with customers of Precision Planting. Develop product and dollar forecasts for the retail dealer channel in responsible regions. Monitor and analyze sales and market trends. Coordinates sales operations with all other departments\/divisions of the Company. Responsible for driving revenue and learning from that experience to refine sales processes. Support Company Strategy Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of their specified regions, while maintaining focus on the company\u2019s strategic goals. Actively brings feedback from the customer and dealer channel to accurately inform the product development process of customer trends Analyzes sales statistics to determine business growth potential and support strategic planning. Facilitates team business planning and implementation processes. Ensures the successful implementation of the national\/regional marketing initiatives. Collaborates closely with the Product Support team to develop training and development programs for the retail dealer channel. Develop People Establishes performance goals for responsible Region Sales Managers, and monitors performance on a continual basis. Is involved in the hiring, training and firing of the personnel involved in specified regions. Actively works with team members to identify and develop their talents. Develops and maintains a strong relationship with key opinion leaders and contacts within the industry. Ensure team performs job related tasks in a safe manner. Other Reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing. Travel can range from 25% to 50% based on season. Qualifications : Bachelor degree in Agriculture studies or Business Administration, or 15 years of sales related experience. MBA preferred. 10 years experience in professional sales and\/or Management roles. Excellent people management skills. Excellent time management skills.
