Practice Development Manager (Private Capital Transactions)

The candidate will Act as a liaison to administrative functions regarding group support needs and will contributing to the overall success of practice group performance. Assist leadership and practice area attorneys in development, execution and implementation of practice area strategic plans. Design, coordinate and implement business development initiatives working with practice area attorneys. Oversee development of practice area marketing collateral material and strategize approach for and oversee the preparation of various legal ranking submissions. Draft lateral partner sponsor memoranda and oversee integration of lateral attorneys into practice area. Inform practice area attorneys on developments related to practice area, as applicable. Facilitate sharing of practice area developments and information with appropriate professional services staff groups. Assist with analysis of practice group financial reports and metrics. Plan and execute practice group partner meetings as well as client events and meetings, working closely with events team. J.D. or MBA is preferred. Should have 5+ years experience working in a mid to large law firm or corporate environment in a similar field and/or as a practicing attorney. Experience in or strong knowledge of corporate transactional work is required.
