Talent Acquisition Specialist

The candidate will draft job postings, and creatively source candidates using a variety of methods, including search firms, internal referrals, and leads, online research of targets and prospects, and use of internet resources such as LinkedIn. Review resumes, conduct phone screening interviews, and work with the Hiring Attorney in each office to schedule interviews, the offer process, and follow-up efforts. Obtain reference checks, background checks, and due diligence on associate candidates; and see the hiring process through the offer and acceptance stage. Assist the Director of Talent Acquisition with lateral partner hiring, including facilitating the due diligence process, review of lateral hiring forms, reference checks, background checks, and presentation of candidates to Firm Management. Perform proactive candidate sourcing using various software, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate with hiring attorneys on multiple searches simultaneously. Maintain recruiting statistics and prepare reports, surveys, and presentations as needed on these hiring statistics. Support the summer associate program, which includes assisting with the coordination of on-campus recruiting and in-office interview programs, assisting with interview schedules, the offer process, and follow-up efforts. Collaborate with several departments and firm management for special projects including human resources, business development, and special events. Organize and prioritize numerous tasks, completing all under time constraints, and while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail. Develop effective relationships within the firm and the legal recruitment community to have a positive influence and impact on the firm's recruiting program. Provide administrative support for various recruiting initiatives. Bachelor’s degree is required. JD is a plus. Should have 3-5 years of experience within a recruiting department or recruiting agency. Prior experience with a law firm is preferred.
