Litigation Paralegal
The candidate must have either a Bachelor's Degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program and at least three years of prior defense litigation experience. Should have experience performing the following tasks: Assisting trial counsel in all areas of client representation including drafting correspondence and pleadings; preparing discovery and discovery responses; document management; document production; preparing for depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial and supporting attorneys at trial. Must have knowledge of court rules, proficiency in paper and e-filing (state and federal), and knowledge of court websites and research skills. Candidates should possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills. Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time, be willing to work overtime, if necessary, and be willing to travel for trial. Must provide minimum authorization to work in the United States.
