Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience to join its Business Practice Group. The successful candidate will work on a variety of commercial real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and lending. The position also provides the opportunity to gain exposure to litigation related to real estate development projects such as eminent domain, title disputes, and environmental compliance. 

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and lending

• Draft and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, and financing agreements

• Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review

• Support litigation related to real estate development projects (preferred but not required)

• Assist with cases involving eminent domain, inverse condemnation, construction claims, and environmental compliance

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients across a variety of real estate matters

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of real estate transactional experience

• Familiarity with private and public real estate development processes

• Experience with real estate-related litigation is preferred

• Strong academic background

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California

• Effective communication and client service skills

• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
