Description:MFC is seeking a Quality Program Manager for a position in Orlando, FL to lead the Fixed Wing program area. Key deliverables of this position include a positive customer relationship as evidenced by excellent Contract Performance Assessment Report (CPAR) scores, and a stable and uninterrupted delivery of compliant product. Excellent communication and time management skills are essential for this role. The selected candidate must possess a strong business acumen and display exceptional proficiency and competence in applied principles of Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Systems Analysis, Systems Engineering, Reliability and Product and Process Variation Management. This position requires:Dynamic, proactive and results-oriented leadership to develop, implement and manage a comprehensive, continuous improvement strategy which leverages input from internal LM cross-functional peers, external supply chain counterparts, functional and site Quality management personnel and Customer representatives. Seamless integration with MFC Quality disciplines, assess and provide insight into the effectiveness of Quality systems infrastructure at key suppliers and LM Production sites, and represent the program and QMS Organization at key program and executive staff meetings, issue resolution events, subcontractor forums and periodic Customer reviews.Ability to Collaborate extensively with representatives of the US Government and senior LM executives, and demonstrate proficiency in leading diverse, geographically dispersed high-performance technical teams in driving effective, affordable continuous improvement solutions that enable efficient, capable and consistent production rates.Basic Qualifications:Technical Engineering degree in a Technical, Industrial or Quality Assurance related fieldExperienced Quality professional with strong mechanical, electrical, electronic or Systems integration skills and business acumen. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearanceAbility to support occasional travel ( Experience as a team lead and facilitatorExperience working with Government customersExperience in the recruitment and development of talent to strengthen the organization Advanced experience in applied Quality Engineering principles, Supplier Quality Engineering practices in Aerospace industryExperienced in Quality Management Systems (i.e. AS9100, AS9102, AS9103, AS9145, TS16949)Experience developing Quality Management System requirements and governmental regulatory standardsExperience driving strategies resulting in contemporary and optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Quality Management SystemsExperience in managing the development, modification, application and maintenance of quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials productExperience with control and disposition of non-conforming materialDemonstrated ability to identify solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices using tools like Causal Analysis to drive Corrective Action and Preventive ActionExperience in establishing performance metrics and conducting data analysis to identify process improvementsExperienced in Risk Management techniquesExperience in developing and implementing processes to mitigate risks Experience in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and development of Quality Assurance Basis of Estimates (BOE). Experience as an Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM)Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
