The candidate will liaise with the IT Department’s various functional units, as well as with the firm’s other business services departments outside of information technology. Work with the Firm’s Office of the General Counsel. Read and analyze contracts for commercial terms, term and termination, Service Level Agreements and identification of terms to review with the firm’s General Counsel. Work with vendors to secure effective and appropriate Master Service Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, Statements of Work, Service Orders and other contractual instruments. In this function, the Manager will also work closely with the General Counsel’s office, the firm’s Project Management Office, as well as the affected business services stakeholders. Invoice Analysis, Review and Approval - ensure that remittances align with vendor contracts and commitments for IT equipment and services. Assist with renewals of large multi-year renewals. For example the Microsoft EA and Cisco Smartnet. Assist with preparation of RFP’s for IT equipment and services. Work with vendors and IT and firm stakeholders in all phases of the procurement process to secure the most financially advantageous transactions. Ensure all items have appropriate contractual and internal IT functional review. This entails working with those requesting a new service that they provide all necessary materials to adequately review an item, facilitating communication during the process and ultimate approval or rejection. Assist with the management of the departmental contracts and other material within the online contract management platform. Other projects as needed as determined by Director, IT Administration. Assist with planning, development and management of the department’s annual and multi-year Expense and Capital budgets. Work with the IT Department’s Operations and Security groups to conduct and maintain accurate and updated asset inventory of all IT Hardware and Software Licenses. Work with Finance to manage and keep current the IT Department’s Fixed Asset Schedules. Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in the fields of Business, Procurement, Accounting, Finance or Information Technology. Should preferably have 5+ years’ experience working in the information technology section of a large law firm or other professional services organization. Proficient in the use of MS Office applications is required. Understanding of multiple agreement types Master Service, Statements of Work, Licenses, and Cloud/SaaS is required.
