Director - Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Advisory
The candidate will provide high-quality client service that meets and/or exceeds client expectations. Will perform buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence and develop tax-efficient acquisition and divestiture structures and communicates findings and opportunities to clients. Assist clients and outside legal counsel to review tax and financial models, as well as transaction documents. Manage multiple engagements simultaneously and work with engagement teams on a full spectrum of tax and structuring considerations related to complex corporate and partnership transactions including mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, and restructurings. Manage, develop, and train the M&A tax team and create a collaborative team environment and motivate the team through communication and actions. Identify new client pursuits, develop proposals and thought leadership content, and be visible in the market developing relationships. Be growth motivated, own client relationships, and oversee engagement economics and management of resources. Lead conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust.
