Research & Development Tax Experienced Staff

The candidate assists in planning and running engagements. Schedules and conducts informational gathering interviews with clients. Obtains and organizes documentation obtained from the client. Performs tax research. Drafts technical reports and correspondence. Assists with taxing authority audit defense. Should have a Bachelor’s degree; emphasis in Accounting, Business, Construction Management or Engineering preferred. Advanced degree preferred (e.g. MST, JD, or LL.M). CPA or bar member preferred. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in state of employment. Should have 1 year of related experience in R&D tax credits or tax compliance. Strong data analytical and Excel stills. Excellent client service skills internal and external. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong research ability. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. Ability to handle multiple priorities, tasks and simultaneous projects. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook). Ability to travel as needed, approximately 20%.
