Business Analyst - PLM/Product

Profile

Overview: - Provide Product/Merchant system support related to the PLM and S2M tools.

- Assist with new system development, testing and training.

- Responsible for all PLM requirements gathering, process, training and communication.

Essential Functions:

- Provide Product expertise as it relates to PDM/PLM upgrades, new system development initiatives

- Provide PDM/PLM support and system maintenance to Product Community

- Support testing effort for PDM/PLM enhancements in Product space

- Support training efforts for Product community on PDM/PLM

- Support communication process between PBT and Product Community

- Provide troubleshooting support for all PLM issues and needs

- Maintain PLM hierarchy structure

- Direct contact for Product user training

- Facilitate meetings with Product task force to gather input on systemic changes

- Act as liaison between Product and PBT development for all reporting needs

- Create/maintain help and how to documentation

- Maintain running log of issues and call outs

- Communicate system changes/enhancements to Product community

- Use independent judgment to support the strategic vision within the functional area, abide by operational policies and directives, communicate progress towards goals and objectives

- Monitor application operational performance, escalate and direct as required

- Provide world class customer service with an emphasis on courtesy

- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree, 3-5 or relevant job experience in Web PDM/PLM Administration or Technical Design

- Strong knowledge of the product development process

- Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

- Practical experience supporting ITIL Service Lifecycle best practices; demonstrated process improvement practices

Language Skills:

- Ability to communicate, orally and in writing, technical information to senior level executives in a simple and understandable format

Other skills:

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with multi-disciplinary subject matter experts
