Interacts with senior leadership on significant process improvement matters often requiring coordination between organizations (internal and external to PARCM). Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives.Drive continuous improvement through profitability, productivity and quality through identification and capitalization of process, system, quality and training opportunities. This position will work closely with operational partners as well as the training and quality team. Primary responsibilities of this position are a blend of identification of opportunity/benefit, development of strategy to address the opportunity, execution of the strategy and monitoring of the benefit.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSWork with functional leaders to identify performance gaps, prioritize opportunities, and manage improvement roadmap for functional areas. Investigate and identify root causes of process performance drivers; correct or develop new processes to achieve improved performance.Facilitate cross-functional process improvement initiatives. Any resource needs or process changes should be justified to leadership by clear ROI and confidence level in execution. Act as a change agent and ensure process improvement activity is being communicated, understood, and supported within the organization. Lead and coach to ensure participation and buy in from employees and leaders to sustain improved process.Develop work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Develop and monitor key metrics to improve operating processes and apply control procedures which will result in permanent corrective action, yield, and productivity improvement.QUALIFICATIONSBA/BS degree in Business, Finance, IT or related field8-12 years' experience implementing contemporary process improvement methodologies in an Operations environment, preferable in the PBM or Pharmacy industry. Lean Six Sigma experience in a transactional environment, healthcare industry and/or financial industry a plus.Six Sigma Black Belt preferred but not requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated analytical skills with understanding of basic statistics. Strong financial acumen and project management and organizational skills. Strong focus on customer service. Excellent PC skills within a Microsoft Office environment using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Abbott Diabetes Care communicated a recall of certain FreeStyle® strips used in the FreeStyle® Blood Glucose Meter built into the OmniPod Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM). They have also recalled the FreeStyle Flash® Meter and FreeStyle® Classic meters. Both recalls are being issued because glucose level readings using these products may provide erroneously low results which if not recognized may pose significant risks to your health.
