Senior IS Business Systems Analyst - Web Platform
Amgen is seeking a Senior IS (Information Systems) Business Systems Analyst - Web Platform in our main headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA to join the Global Commercial Operations Information Systems (GCOIS) group to support the US commercial web service.. The Senior Analyst will report to US Business Operations (USBO) Web Platform Lead.
The Senior Analyst will be a main point of contact for the US region's commercial web development related processes. Using his/her deep knowledge of web best practices and interest in researching web trends and technologies, the Incumbent will support all services related to web platform including content management, analytics, SEO, etc.
GCOIS is responsible for partnering with Amgen's Global Commercial Operations organization to deliver technology services and solutions that achieve corporate strategies and business plans.
Key responsibilities of th
e Senior Analyst include:
Supports cross business unit web services including platform, CMS, analytics, SEO, etc.
Acts as the main point of contact for web project development, vendor on-boarding, and web domain knowledge
Develops documentation and training around processes and newly implemented technologies
Provides administrative and financial management support for web platform and project technologies
Drives team adherence of processes for compliance, documentation, and quality standards
Coordinates with Global Web team on web projects for the US region and brings process improvement suggestions and ideas to the team
Researches and sustains domain expertise on current web trends and technologies to help progress Amgen's web presence forward
Travel: Domestic and International travel of up to 10% might be essential
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience
Associate's degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Systems experience
3 years enterprise CMS experience (Sitecore)
Google Analytics or WebTrends, tagging and tag management (Google Tag Manager or Tealium), SEO / SEM, and latest web technologies.
Basic understanding of Apache and Windows web servers
Basic understanding of SEO / SEM
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across a matrixed organization
