Job Details:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and providing technical support for machine systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Must provide own hand tools.

Must pass safety exam within 30 days of employment in the maintenance department.

Must be able to climb ladders.

Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.

Must observe all required hygiene and safety rules.

Job requires lifting, bending, twisting and turning.

Must complete Monthly Safety Computer Training before the end of each Month.

Must have welding experience.

Must have experience operating a Stick Welder and Cutting Torch.

Must complete Tyson’s ANIMAL WELFARE TRAINING.

Must have or be able to obtain a Forklift Operating License.

Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required.

Must be willing to perform all other tasks as assigned.
