Job Overview: A prominent law firm located in Wilmington, DE is seeking a highly motivated associate attorney to join its team. The role will involve managing a variety of legal matters, particularly in the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, and REO (Real Estate Owned). Duties:

• Manage and prioritize a large caseload of foreclosure, bankruptcy, and related matters.
• Draft and review legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
• Attend hearings, status conferences, and other legal proceedings.
• Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and team members to develop strategies and resolve legal issues.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex legal challenges in the mortgage servicing and financial industries.
• Mitigate client risk while ensuring adherence to legal requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) and admission to the Delaware Bar (must be in good standing).
• Admission to the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Maryland Bar is a plus.
• Legal experience, preferably in bankruptcy, foreclosure, or mortgage banking.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of cases effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Delaware Bar (required).
• Admission to other State Bars (NJ, PA, or MD) is a plus.
