The Role of Commercial Invoice Clerk;
The Commercial Invoice/Data Entry Clerk will report to the Parts and Service Warehouse Manager and will be primarily responsible for
coordinating documentation for daily air exports and ocean freight, , make bookings with shipping lines and airlines, check the freight document from the exporters, filling the AES (Automated Export System), preparing documentation for the ocean and air shipments, etc.
Entry of data into web-based database program in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all designated data entry.
Identify discrepant data both in writing and verbally to supervisor.
Filing, copying, and other general clerical duties as necessary.
Making daily bookings Air freight to Europe/Asia and International
Preparing BOL (Bill of Lading), Commercial Invoice, Shipping labels to all Export Shipments including Air freight as well as Ocean Containers.
Sending pre-alerts to our brokers.
(Automated Export System)
for all ocean shipments
Work closely with the Global Trade Team to confirm HTS Codes
Strong detail orientation.
Excellent data entry skills required, including touch typing and 10-key.
Experience handling high-volume, sensitive, routine work.
2-4 years of Data Entry experience.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to process in-bound email request quickly.
After attaining understanding of work flow; able to work efficiently in the team to chase data gaps.
