Information Security Specialist

The candidate will be assisting with the development, implementation, and monitoring of a strategic comprehensive information security program to ensure appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity, risk, safety, privacy, and recovery of firm-wide information; developing and overseeing the incident response and business continuity planning, testing and response plans. Managing and maintaining the vendor compliance program, conducting annual and periodic security awareness trainings for all approved system users, overseeing and reporting on the status of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing as well as related remediation and providing regular reporting on the current status of the security program to the Director of IT and firm leadership. College degree and 3+ years of experience in Information Security or Cyber Security field is required. Familiar with the Windows Operating System Environment; Microsoft Azure and Office 365; a Network Operations Center and Security Operations Center as a Service; detection and response systems; security information and event management monitoring; hardware and software firewall administration; data loss prevention; and cloud application security is required. CompTIA Security+; Cloud+; Information Systems Auditor; Risk and Information System Control; and/or Cisco Certified Security Professional certifications is preferred.
