Duties:

• Represent clients in court and administrative proceedings for liability and workers' compensation cases.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and provide legal counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues to build effective case strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes when possible.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials on behalf of clients.
• Manage case files, documentation, and deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Maryland; D.C. Bar admission is a plus.
• Proven experience in handling liability and workers' compensation cases.
• Strong understanding of relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Maryland State Bar Association.
