Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Miami is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with outstanding academic credentials and strong writing skills. The ideal candidate will be a current member of the Florida Bar with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in general litigation including complex commercial litigation and white-collar matters. Judicial clerks are encouraged to apply.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, including case investigation, discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom proceedings.
• Analyze and evaluate complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and achieve successful outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing.
• At least 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in complex commercial litigation and white-collar matters.
• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in litigation or related areas are advantageous.
