Corporate Counsel - Commercial Transactions
The candidate will be working closely with DISH’s sales, customer service, billing & credit and manufacturing groups to support its transactional needs, including drafting and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial contracts. Types of agreements include dealer and distributor agreements, call center outsourcing agreements, agency agreements and services agreements. Counseling business teams on various legal issues. Working closely with business teams to accomplish goals and strategic objectives. Assisting with other responsibilities as needed. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. Admitted to practice law in at least one state. J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Should have 5-8 years of experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements with a large national or regional law firm or leading corporation. Excellent communication, project management, organization and multi-tasking skills. A passion for the in-house practice of law. Energy, resourcefulness and a demonstrated desire to achieve.
