Position Summary
Community Studio Focus: We are seeking an Architect/Project Manager for our Cleveland, OH office with a minimum of 15 years of experience. Our preference is for a candidate with a range of project experience. Experience working with municipal authorities on public works projects (i.e. community centers/police-fire stations) a plus. We need an individual that has a commitment and passion for design excellence to help us grow our exciting studio presence in Cleveland. The duties of this position include a design lead role, technical and project management support in programming, construction documentation, project administration and construction administration.
Candidates must demonstrate skills for managing, organizing and coordinating with clients, contractors and project teams to complete the design and production for a variety of architectural projects, and for ensuring that construction documents are in concert with design intent. Successful candidates must demonstrate prior work and should expect to actively engage in design, technical detailing, product research, management and business development endeavors of the firm. Excellent design, graphic and verbal presentation skills are essential to this position.

Required Skills
Proficient in use of Autodesk REVIT and related tools and processes
Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and related tools and processes
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule)
Excellent written and communication skills
Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; good planning skills
An attitude and commitment towards personal growth and team success
Required Experience
Minimum of an accredited Masters of Architecture degree
Registered Architect in Ohio: NCARB certification preferred
15 years’ experience working in the programming, planning, design and construction of large-scale commercial projects.
Experience in Multi-Phase Design Documentation, Construction and Permitting processes
Knowledge of building materials, specifications, construction techniques
Extensive knowledge of life safety requirements, building codes and accessibility guidelines
Must have experience in preparation of architectural contract documents
Experience with projects which have been recognized for sustainable designs

Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
