Major Provider of consumer goods is seeking an SAP Configuration Manager with extensive FICO and HR experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties will include the Hire to Retire, including SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) and Record to Report, including SAP FI/CO modules. The Configuration Manager will also be responsible for managing the Solution Architects within each functional area.
Lead the team and contribute to the successful completion of all deliverables
Development of the Project Portfolios by partnering with the business to provide recommendations, assess options, and prioritize the different initiatives
Provide guidance to the Solution Architects in assessing, recommending, and configuring SAP delivery mechanisms
Validate SAP to fit business requirements and identify workarounds and business process changes where appropriate
Cross-functional collaboration with representatives throughout the company
Lead the development of testing scenarios, manage the team in the testing process, ensure defects are addressed, and coordinate with the business in delivering user-sign-off of testing of the end-to-end solution
Ensure configuration and support documentation is updated
Lead the stabilization and optimization of newly deployed SAP functionalities
Lead the development of master data requirements, configuration, and loading master data objects
Clean and maintain data integrity in an on-going basis through collaboration with the business
Mentor less experienced team members through learning and growth opportunities
Demonstrated collaboration skills across an organization for application strategy, design, development, implementation, and support
SAP technical skills and ability to effectively communicate systems issues with the business
Results oriented with a proven track record for solving business problems with SAP’s solution framework
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4 year college or university in Information Technology or closely related discipline or 7-10 years experience in SAP FICO and IT
7-10 years full life-cycle experience managing the design, configuration, testing, documentation, and support in the following areas:
Must be a manager in current role for min of 5yrs continuously.
SAP HR Module: Payroll, Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, Benefits, and Compensation with Kronos integration
FI Module: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Travel Management, and Treasury
CO Module: Product Costing, Cost Center, Internal Order, and Profitability Analysis
PMP and ITIL v3 Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline is preferred
SAP Certification and experience with ASAP methodology, configuration, and implementation of other SAP R/3 applications and manufacturing
PMP experience preferred
