Manager / Director, National Tax Office

Duties: Play a key role in helping build the A&M Taxand’s National Tax Office. Develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services and work product that meets and/or exceeds client expectations, including reviewing tax opinions, obtaining private letter rulings, and helping structure transactions. Stay current and ahead of cutting-edge tax-related developments, legislative and regulatory changes affecting the tax practice. Contribute to the growth, experience, and institutional knowledge of the A&M Tax and tax practice team members, including the providing of technical memos and opinions and oral presentations. Lead, participate in and contribute to market and business development activities external to the firm, including identifying and pursuing new potential client service opportunities by collaborating with A&M Taxand’s practices.
