Case Management Specialist

The candidate will receive and process mail, faxes and emails from consumers, consumer’s attorneys or debt settlement companies, third parties and the courts. Determine if mail should be routed to a collector or an attorney. Summarize contents of mail into case management system. Prioritize mail based on deadlines. Assign files to attorneys based on file type, client requirements and jurisdiction. Coordinate appropriate follow up reviews for attorneys. Add and update the docket of court appearances. Handle incoming faxes and emails and directs to the proper personnel. Contact courts when necessary to obtain information. Processes document requests to courts to obtain copies of pleadings. Answer court call phone line. Back up for front desk receptionist as needed. High School Diploma degree is required. Associate’s or better degree is preferred. Law firm or legal assistant experience is preferred. Notary license is preferred.
