The candidate should have between 2-4 years experience of in land use entitlement and real estate litigation experience. Should have knowledge of land use law including zoning laws and processes and subdivision laws and processes; knowledge of real estate controversies in or approaching litigation including condemnation, lease disputes, boundary disputes, easement and title disputes, and real property covenant disputes; demonstrated ability to understand the nuanced regulations of complex deals and ownership structures; ability to work independently on a tightly-knit and practice-specific team. Must have excellent academic credentials, oral and writing skills, and references. Must be licensed or have the ability to become licensed in North Carolina.
