The candidate will be working with outside legal counsel on all aspects of loan closing including the creation and management of a closing documentation checklist. Working with internal KYC team to help coordinate and track the customer due diligence process. Working with counterparts at other lending institutions to complete customer and collateral due diligence as part of syndicated transactions. Responsible for procuring and reviewing due diligence materials such as organizational documents, good standing certificates, UCC and related lien searches, title insurance, ALTA surveys, insurance certificates, leases, flood and environmental reviews, mortgages, appraisals and other property-related collateral documentation. Will help prepare escrow instructions and coordinate signatures, notarizations, and document delivery. May help order and assess flood determinations in compliance with bank flood compliance policies and FEMA national flood insurance. Working with outside counsel to prepare a closing settlement statement with all necessary wiring instructions. Working with external and internal resources to resolve and clear post-closing documentation exceptions. Will work with counsel to prepare payoff documentation and lien releases. Reviewing and processing any invoices not paid in the closing settlement statement. Reviewing organize and help maintain master collateral lists. Maintaining compliance with insurance maintenance required by policy. Working with lending teams on any documentation requirements for ongoing account maintenance, and any documentation amendments. Working with internal systems that track borrower financial and covenant compliance reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Working with borrowers to ensure borrowing, repayment and invoicing needs are satisfied. Training and developing junior loan administrators. Provide management and leadership to a growing team. Interpret policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and communicate relevant information and policy updates to the portfolio and relationship management teams. Participate in the development of policies and procedures and suggest innovation and improvements. Document execution where appropriate
