Aon is looking for a Data Scientist Elysium Digital LLC seeks a Data Scientist in Chicago, Illinois to perform business intelligence analysis. Your impact as a Data Scientist Job Responsibilities:Researching and analyzing IP solutions;Producing financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports;Devising methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources;Assisting business units to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, business goals, and objectives;Assisting in providing reports on the progress of IP market-making efforts;Performing IP analysis and valuation and building predictive risk models;Supporting data science (analytics), consumer insights, and business intelligence teams on predictive modelling, automation, and data visualization projects;Performing data analytics from data extraction, cleaning and pre-processing, feature selection and engineering, and modeling (random forest, neural networks, linear regression, SVM, and bagging);Producing insight reports and presentations on data analytics research and analyses;Utilizing software tools including Python, R, and SQL to translate large-scale patent and trademark data into models and actionable insights;Producing visualizations using Python and Power BI to interpret and represent patent data;Writing Python code to scrape, engineer patent, and trademark data for modelling;Automating data cleaning process using Python code;Building predictive algorithms predicting probability of low-risk patent litigation and patent inventor gender.You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Data Science or a related field plus one year (or Bachelor’s degree followed by five progressive years) of business intelligence analysis experience. Required Skills: Must have at least one year of experience in each of the following:Producing financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports;Devising methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources;Supporting data science (analytics), consumer insights, and business intelligence teams on predictive modeling, automation, and data visualization projects;Performing data analytics from data extraction, cleaning and pre-processing, feature selection and engineering, and modeling (random forest, neural networks, linear regression, SVM, and bagging);Utilizing software tools including Python, R, and SQL;Producing visualizations using Python and Power BI to interpret and represent patent data.We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. Our Colleague Experience: From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.  They make a difference, work with the best, own their potential, and value one another.  This is the Aon Colleague Experience, defining what it means to work at Aon and realizing our vision of empowering human and economic possibility.
