Corporate Paralegal
The candidate will schedule assigned Board of Directors meetings (parent and subsidiaries); be responsible for the taking and preparation of board meeting minutes and other corporate governance documents; be responsible for preparation and distribution of agendas and supplemental materials for board meetings. Ensure all required corporate record-keeping is current and securely maintained, including minute books, electronic database and other electronic files; be responsible for the filing of annual reports and other documents with appropriate state government agencies; work closely with other paralegals and assistants to accomplish filing of corporate/legal documents with appropriate government officials. Prepare a variety of complex correspondence, agenda, memoranda, legal documents, reports and other materials including material of highly confidential nature. Perform a wide variety of administrative functions, including compiling and proofreading legal and governance documents, updating records, and preparing and sending mailings. As needed, work with individual Board members to accomplish travel and attendance arrangements; assist others in making logistical arrangements for Board of Directors’ meetings including hotel, transportation, catering and hospitality arrangements. Any combination equivalent to: AA degree and 5+ years of corporate paralegal or legal office administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
