State and Local Tax Senior Manager - Indirect Tax

The candidate will assist with the management of clients and their needs. Will oversee and perform projects entailing technical review and analysis of various multistate indirect taxes; including sales, use, gross receipts, severance, and property tax issues such as nexus, apportionment, taxability, and state credits. Manage and assist with various tax consulting projects including research and writing projects related to tax planning, nexus studies, voluntary disclosure applications, audit defense, and penalty abatement. Analyze taxpayer data and be able to identify opportunities for prospects and clients. Keep up to date on state and local tax law changes. Participate in business development activities. Develop internal and external relationships on behalf of the firm and help grow external branding. Assist in the management of staff through scheduling and work management. Assist in growing and developing staff.
