Aon is looking for a National Property Associate Broker As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk, in our New York office. Work Style: Hybrid - in office 2-3 days a week as needed. Your Impact as A National Property Associate Broker The primary function is to assist senior team members with the marketing of placements as well as working directly with clients to bind coverage. The Associate Broker works closely with Producers, Account Executives and clients to understand client’s needs.Job Responsibilities:Accountable for routine support activities to brokers and senior brokers with defined deadlines, related to renewal strategy documents, proposals, submissions along with data analysis for the placement of insurance solutions.Gain & display coverage competency, knowledge of markets and relationshipsEffectively plan and manage renewal cycleLearn and master placement support systemsMay facilitate and/or participate in client/broker strategy meetings.Develop ability to broke less complex accountsMay send requests for quotations to the insurance carriers with opportunities to negotiation programs.Manages daily work within established guidelines and receives general instructions on newly introduced assignments.Assists with the processing of policy and related documentsProvides support to the account management process, when appropriateWith minimal mentorship and supervision, identifies and analyzes client exposures and determines which markets to utilize, ensuring thorough evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace.You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience/SkillsAbility to prioritize workload and timelines efficiently and effectivelyExcellent Verbal and Written Communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power Point and OutlookThorough knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance marketplace including products and servicesYou do not need to have an insurance license, you just need to be able to obtain the insurance license in first 6 monthsThen maintains a valid Property/Casualty LicenseAbility to work independentlyMust be detail-orientedCapable of balancing multiple projects/deadlinesPossesses sophisticated analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilitiesEducation:Bachelor Degree is requiredWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
