The candidate will be working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Sending reduction requests to healthcare providers. Drafting disbursement sheets for attorneys to review. Reviewing outstanding bills and costs to ensure accuracy. Ensuring all bills are paid from settlement funds. Keeping clients happy by getting settlement funds to them quickly. Communicating with clients, paralegals, attorneys and the rest of the team. Associate’s Degree is required. Should have 1-2 years in a personal injury firm handling disbursements or 2-3 years in an accounting or bookkeeping job. Experience with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required. Experience with Adobe products is required. Experience reading medical and billing records, and health insurance records is preferred.
