Duties

• Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, and refinances

• Review and analyze property titles for accuracy and completeness

• Draft and review legal documentation including:

  • Contracts

  • Purchase and sale agreements

  • Deeds

  • Leases

  • Loan documents

• Collaborate with brokers, lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers to ensure smooth closings

• Review disbursement ledgers and execute checks

• Provide professional guidance to clients and address transaction-related concerns

• Represent the firm in local business development and community outreach

• Conduct training sessions for prospective clients and real estate professionals

• Assist in expanding the firm's visibility and reputation within the region

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar

• Experience in residential real estate closings strongly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage transactions independently

• Commitment to client service and professionalism

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on firm and practice growth

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications
