Compliance Attorney

The candidate will assist with completing information security questionnaires and participate in the audit of security controls. Serve as a subject matter expert on issues related to Conflicts of Interest, Ethics, Anti-Money Laundering, and information security. Review and draft engagement terms and waiver letters and assist firm partners in negotiations with external firm clients. Oversee the negotiation and management of all contracts and IT related master services agreements firmwide. Working with key stakeholders, ensure the Firm’s review and compliance with contract terms and conditions. Complete special projects as assigned by the Office of General Counsel and Risk Management team. Bachelor’s degree, Juris Doctorate, and an active law license in good standing in at least one state. Should have 5-7 years of experience in a law firm or in-house corporate role. Experience in reviewing information security contract provisions with a specialization in privacy law or CIPP certification preferred. Strong understanding of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct and the ethics rules specific to jurisdictions where the firm has an office. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills within all levels of an organization. Should have the ability to provide clear and concise information under strict deadlines. Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, and customer service focused mindset.
