HR Assistant
The candidate will help the department operate efficiently through payroll, recruitment, onboarding and off boarding, and benefit administration. Maintain HR database (HRpro). Compile reports and prepare spreadsheets. Prepare and transmit bi-weekly payroll. Assist with onboarding/off boarding employees. Assist with ad-hoc HR tasks and responsibilities. Enter and set-up new joiners across various platforms. Coordinate new joiner orientation and onboarding. Ensure new joiners are set-up with work location, equipment, etc. as appropriate. Assist with the preparation and transmission of bi-weekly payroll. Enter employee data changes such as tax withholdings, salary increases, benefit deductions. Develop and prepare payroll reports on bi-weekly, monthly, and/or as-need basis. Assist with open enrollment. Assist with employee attendance and leave management. Maintain employees' electronic files and HR database. Update employee records. Audit electronic files to ensure employee documents are current. Scan and organize documents. Complete employment verifications. Assist with year-end processes including but not limited to performance evaluations. Assist HR Managers with expense reimbursement and invoices. Assist with travel arrangements. Schedule meetings, maintain calendar and contacts. Good level of IT literacy and numeracy skills is required. Should have 0-2 years' HR experience.
