The Lead Agile Coach Coaches, leads transformations, educates and mentors organizational leaders and their teams to instill a scaled, successful enterprise-wide adoption of Agile methodologies and practices including Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The Lead Agile Coach works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

Humana is seeking a Lead Agile Coach that is responsible for:

Full-scale Lean-Agile transformations of entire organizations (end-to-end)

Working with leaders and roles within organizations to align end-to-end flow of product value delivery from ideation to production.

Creating tools and leading training sessions to demonstrate how leaders and associates will apply Agile methodologies in their day-to-day work.

Guiding an organization through the transition and drives continued adherence to optimal Agile work practices.

Promoting a culture of innovation by implementing Agile processes and principles which include techniques to increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and velocity.

Providing on-going iteration management for high profile initiatives to provide real-time coaching as well as to gather and share Agile best practices across the enterprise.

Advising executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.

Exercising independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.

Using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

8 years of technical experience

5 or more years of Agile performing large-scale Agile transformations

Be fluent with software development methodologies and practices (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, Lean)

Expertise in continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tooling

Consulting and facilitation skills in leading and training product and delivery teams.

Value Stream Mapping to establish and orient around Products

Roadmap development for large initiatives/transformations

Ability to influence and mentor senior leadership on Agile mindset and practices

Success metrics development and tracking

Problem solving and consultation within complex environments

Advanced verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program Consultant (SPC 5 ) with enablement to train

Strong ability to create/conduct workshops that target keys areas within organizations that require elevation of Agile maturity (e.g., Agile/SAFe 101, Agile role alignment, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps).

Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

Work-At-Home Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expenses.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Will report to the Associate Director, Portfolio Management, IT TA - Portfolio and Project Management
