The candidate will be providing privacy and data protection advice to the business, with a special focus on worldwide data-driven initiatives. Will be guiding GDO and GT on how best to ensure data protection by design and default is baked into the design, build, test, and deployment stages of all their activities. Carrying out GDPR required Data Protection Impact Assessments and providing solutions to mitigate global data privacy risks on a variety of processing activities. Overseeing data protection and privacy audits and reviews to quality assure compliance with global data privacy regulations, laws, and guidance. Recommending successful compliance strategies and leading on their roll-out. Assisting with international data transfer and data processing agreements with vendors and other third parties. Providing data privacy advice to contract negotiations where relevant. Delivering data privacy staff training to all firm entities and affiliates globally, with a particular focus on digital data uses. Writing and updating global data privacy and data protection policies. Updating the Data Privacy Team on emerging data privacy and data protection laws and guidance. Overseeing the development and implementation of data privacy compliance activities, including monitoring and record keeping, breach notification logs, and records of processing activities.
