The Lead, Software Quality Testing thoroughly evaluates the software products according to the business standards or function requirements. The Lead, Software Quality Testing works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

Join a dynamic and crucial part of Humana within the Clinical IT area. We are looking for a quality-oriented individual to drive our software test data management program. The Clinical Test Data Quality Lead will be responsible for modeling the multiple clinical systems including upstream and downstream dependencies, working with Executives, Test Leads, Testers, and other engineering delivery resources to outline key test data needs and risks on a recurring basis. Define and determine the test data management plan for the clinical segment including both our new cloud based platforms and legacy applications. Help drive a consistent approach to our software release cycles by surveying the scope, scale, and variety of data necessary to achieve quality objectives and build confidence in the outcomes of our functional and non-functional validation. The Clinical Test Data Quality Lead will analyze defect trends pertaining to data needs or deficiencies to ensure a robust collection of data for our System Integration testing, User Acceptance testing, and even Production Validation.

A successful candidate would show a history of balancing the comprehensiveness of test data needs with time to market and prioritization of key workflows. They would evaluate the state of our software products ability to meet organization standards and end-user requirements through the lens of data needs. Very familiar with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

a Bachelor's degree

7 or more years of technical experience

2 or more years of project leadership experience

Track record of clear & concise communication with both individual contributors and leaders in written, verbal, and presentation formats.

Demonstrated history of isolating, reproducing, and tracking defects and verification of fixes with an emphasis on data complexity and scale

Develops diverse test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements.

History of analytical approach to decision-making for tooling, test resources, and learning complex/comprehensive data ontologies

Preferred Qualifications

Education, certification, or emphasis in optimization/process improvement

Additional certification or background in RDBMS, query languages, and tools for data analysis

Experience managing contract resources for task delegation
