Aon is looking for an Associate Broker to be part of an industry-leading team; you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective insurance solutions as part of our National Casualty Brokerage Group within Aon Risk Solutions, in Chicago, Illinois. Job Responsibilities:Accountable for support activities to brokers with defined deadlines, related to proposals, endorsement preparation, submission and data analysis related to the placement and servicing of national accounts Facilitate and/or participate in client/broker strategy meetings. May send requests for quotation to a generally standard group of insurance carriers and prepare summaries relaying results. Perform basic analysis using spreadsheets or broker tools to assist with negotiations. Manage daily work within established guidelines and receives general instructions on newly introduced assignments.Learn casualty coverage forms, endorsements, and exclusions, being able to illustrate clear understanding of coverage.Possess advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities. You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:0 to 3 years’ of commercial insurance experience Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power PointNeeds to be detailed orientedExcellent verbal and communication skillsHandle multiple projects/deadlinesAbility to prioritize workloadMust have the willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty license upon hire Education:Bachelor’s degreeWe offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. The salary range for this position is $53,000-70,000 annually.
