Part-time Criminal Justice Faculty

The candidate will promote excellence in instruction through innovative instructional methods in the Criminal Justice and Juvenile Corrections programs. Identify and meet the needs for student learning. Promote student learning and skills attainment. Work within the guiding principles of outcomes based learning. Develop course curriculum, deliver teaching to students, assess student learning. Grade papers on time, turn in grades on time. Work within the philosophy and mission of the college as an educator. Advise Criminal Justice and Juvenile Corrections students as scheduled, and facilitate in their learning. Perform assigned teaching and advising roles, to include promoting the program and student retention. Participate as assigned in occasional department and advisory meetings. Actively engage in communication and collaboration within the Criminal Justice and Juvenile Corrections Programs. Work on a planned schedule of professional development to attain current knowledge and practice. Assist in departmental learning activities as assigned.
