  • Collaborate with clients to develop patent strategies, conduct patentability searches, and provide legal advice on intellectual property matters.
  • Manage and coordinate the prosecution of patent families, ensuring the protection and enforcement of clients' intellectual property rights.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate intellectual property agreements, licenses, and contracts.
  • Provide legal counsel on IP-related issues, including infringement matters and IP due diligence in corporate transactions.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in intellectual property law, with a focus on patent prosecution and transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Strong academic credentials and a proven track record in intellectual property law.
  • Active registration to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Active membership and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas or eligibility to waive into the Texas Bar.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active registration with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Active membership and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas or eligibility to waive into the Texas Bar.
