The Manager, Corporate Communications & Public Relations for Neiman Marcus Group will execute strategic public relations programs that support overarching corporate, brand, and merchant driven programming. The Manager, Corporate Communications & Public Relations will support the Director, Corporate Communications & Public Relations and will work hand-in-hand with events, corporate responsibility, marketing, social, digital, creative, partnerships, co-op, and promotions teams along with merchant divisions to continue the coordination of key communications activities while creating new and innovative approaches to delivering world-class communications support for Neiman Marcus Group. The Manager, Corporate Communications & Public Relations for Neiman Marcus Group can expect to be immersed in all aspects of the marketing, events, and digital disciplines and regularly engage with senior executives, corporate finance, Neiman Marcus buyers, vendors, and international, national, and local. The Manager, Corporate Communications & Public Relations must have excellent communication skills, demonstrate continued creativity, and understand the critical importance of attending to the smallest of details. As Manager, Corporate Communications & Public Relations, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, such as contributing to the management of key communications and public relations programs, coordinating store-level press material approvals, drafting and reviewing corporate and brand press releases, contributing content and supporting the management of the company's press center, partnering with Internal Communications to synchronize messaging and programming, and supporting and inducting new store PR Managers with our Corporate Communications and Public Relations protocols and SOPs. Additional key priorities are listed below: Assists Director, Corporate Communications & Public Relations in the creation of strategic corporate communications priorities that positively align and promote our retail brands. Ensures consistency of messaging throughout corporate and store press materials. Works with Director, Corporate Communications & Public Relations on charting corporate presence at media events, speaking engagements, press interviews, etc. Drafts various press materials including briefing books, corporate key messages, corporate leadership speeches, presentations, press releases, etc. Manages measurement agencies and reporting tools (daily, weekly, monthly, annual reports) Continues to build and nurture relationships with key media Supports Director, Corporate Communications & Public Relations and additional Manager, Corporate Communications & Public Relations with the management of budget Partners with and coordinates across internal communications departments to ensure content messaging consistency and timely delivery. The ability to work efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of internal and external partners is a key priority in this position. The Manager, Corporate Communications & Public Relations must have a keen passion and interest in corporate communications and an appreciation for the philanthropic legacy of Neiman Marcus Group.
