Associate Counsel
Duties: Works closely with the General Counsel on diverse legal, employment, commercial, regulatory, operational and compliance matters. Negotiate, draft and review various types of contracts, including vendor, consulting and construction agreement as well as corporate transaction documents, and work to standardize terms. Lead and provide advice on employment and compliance matters, including investigations, regulatory reporting requirements, charge responses and pre-litigation disputes. Assist with development of legal strategies and policies to mitigate risks. Conduct legal research and provide guidance, reports, proposed policies and other materials on relevant legal, regulatory and compliance issues. Supervise, manage and evaluate outside counsel as may be required. Provide advice and support to paralegals and other members of the Legal Department. Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by the General Counsel.
