Manages, directs, and controls a team of Sales Account Representatives that work with clients and broker as part of the Sales team to insure that customers receive the proper level of service that leads to the sale and retention of medical and ancillary products.  Products include medical, pharmacy, dental, life disability and vision.  Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  Provides leadership and strategic direction to ensure profitable growth.

Develops strategies and executes sales plans to achieve membership growth and financial goals.

Manages a team that resolves customer service issue as well as informing clients and brokers of the benefits available to them including consumer directed plans and wellness programs.   

Clients include employers with 50-5,000 employees.  Reports to a Director or RVP/Staff VP of Sales. 

Job requirements

Requires a BA/BS and 5-7 years of health and life insurance service experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Previous health service management experience preferred.

Excellent written, oral and negotiation skills required.

Excellent analytical abilities and strong PC skills required.

Excellent managerial and leadership skills required.
