Marketing Paralegal

Duties: Serve as the Legal Department’s primary liaison to marketing and sales teams. Refine and manage the Legal Department’s processes for efficiently providing accurate and prompt counsel on marketing collateral and contracts, while stewarding and promoting Capella’s culture of compliance. Track the flow of marketing collateral and contracts, assist in prioritizing projects, and refine and manage metrics for assessing the efficiency of legal review processes. Perform initial assessment of marketing collateral and contracts to help identify issues for legal review and streamline Corporate Attorney’s review. Engage in substantive review and revision of select marketing collateral and contracts using standards developed by Corporate Attorney and Associate General Counsel. Provide excellent client service and authoritatively manage client expectations for Legal Department processes and deliverables. Maintain familiarity with regulatory requirements, higher education marketing best practices, and industry developments. Assist with special projects assigned by the Corporate Attorney related to the legal needs of the marketing and sales teams. Collaborate with peers and serve a variety of other Legal Department functions as needed.
